If Mick wins this, there will never be a case of such a lucky champion in any racing series :8:

Oh, it'll be awful, oh it'll be quite appaling. Never have I seen a luckier champion in the WHOLE of my LIFE! :8:

Still, plenty of time for him to choke

(Also as an aside, after great racing for the majority of the season it's a crying shame they're not taking these F2 cars to Turkey.
Imagine the slipstreaming we'd get there...)

I'm still confused when they use SC or VSC. Is there any rule, actually?

Talk about exaggeration for dramatic effect and seeking attention...I'm loving the saltiness
In all seriousness though, I've actually been very impressed with his tire management and race craft compared to his first season of F2. Especially in recent races he's done well to keep his nose clean and secure consistent points rather than pushing for that extra position.

Nobu's gone, Alesi replaces him at MP, and Jake Hughes replaces Alesi at HWA

Hopefully Alesi can do better there. I can't decide if he isn't good enough, or whether HWA are just a weak team this season. Markelov has been awful this season, yet he's been reasonably successful in the past, so it could be the team.

I feel like nobody has stood out this season. Drivers have either shown flashes of pace and then been nowhere in other races, or they've been consistent but not outstanding (like Mick). It could be a sign that F2 has just become super competitive, but no one is impressing me like LeClerc, Russell, Hamilton etc. did.

I think it's probably a strong field. If it wasn't a strong field, I suspect we'd be seeing more of Ghiotto, Aitken, Nobu and Markelov at the front as their experience would count for a lot

Shwartzman and Lundgaard are the guys with the highest ceiling. They'd probably benefit from another year at this level, so long as they don't end up winning the title. But Mick's got his name above one garage door in F1 next year already. I suspect the big question is whether Ilott will get a Haas seat, because he's already confirmed he won't be back in F2 next year regardless of whether or not he can win the title

Ilott has great quali pace, Schwartzman and Lundgaard impressed me the most in complete races.
Schumacher was consistent, and Tsunoda and Zhou showed great pace but are keen to collisions.

I'll save you the decision. He isn't good enough.
