The corners around the castle are just ridiculous. There is barely enough room for the medical car to get through there just by itself. So what do they do? Make a ridiculously tight corner even tighter by extending the inside kerb out further than it should be.
Which is funny, because there's no BOP issue with the Porsche. 5 poles this year out of 8 have been set by a Porsche in GTD, and the first and fourth fastest cars during the race at Road America were set by a 911. AJR's other car, the 23, has no issues with being at the front of the field. The two W...
Those were the best races of the speedweeks. A real shame that they didn't had the balls to keep that track layout for next year. We would have both things that define Nascar in one place. Banging at short tracks and close superspeedway racing.
I have never understood fully on why the Daytona Prototypes are hated so much. Yeah, some of the cars didn't look that great at first but they got better over the years. And there has been some good races with them too (Detroit 2014, several of the late night battles at Daytona etc.). While I agree...
I don't follow the ins & outs of the series closely enough, so forgive me if this is a dumb question but: with the DPs going away, should we expect to see those teams bringing new prototypes next year or will they shift down to the GT field and expand there? Action Express, Wayne Taylor Racing,...

As much as I want to see Magnus Racing back in IMSA (they're certainly a fun team to follow on social media)...that DQ won't help. They admitted it was their fault. Magnus Racing will not contest its post-race penalty, which dropped the No. 44 Audi R8 LMS to a 12th place class finish after crossing...
dQDIfjm-PZI Extreme Speed was testing with Onroak yesterday at Palm Beach with a Ligier P3 car (Prototype Lites team as well next year?) https://scontent-atl3-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-9/14729343_1408643492533867_8887201662875021717_n.jpg?oh=357d25f8256e3a4e797d7a25010fa5ac&oe=589477E0 https://www....
That elevation graph in the original post is hilarious though, there's less than 3m difference between the highest and lowest point, yet that graph makes it seem like a whole lot more based on its track.
