TL:DR:
- car will be named the ARX-05
- will be using 3.5 liter twin-turbo V6
- reveal slated for Monterrey Car Week (Historics weekend at Laguna Seca, Pebble Beach Concurs)
- driver lineup to be announced later

Damn good. Feels like IMSA can be as good as ALMS was 2006-2008 next year. A real clash of the titans between Penske, Joest and the old stalwarts of the series.

"Its current program, run by SpeedSource, has been discontinued immediately and will not take part in the three remaining Prototype races this season."

Apparently helps with development, if they entered Road America the homologation would be locked.

Kind of shitty they kicked Speedsource to the curb but that car's potential has remained largely untapped. Joest will have that sucker sorted and at the sharp end quickly.

Speedsource has not been a good team, simple as.

Yeaa, terrible with reliability. How many times have we seen their cars break down?

I wonder if Mazda just showed up to the Speedsource shop and was like "we will be taking those back".
