The first race of the Chase should follow the same pattern: single file till the debris caution with 35 to go leading to 5 overtimes and fights

Shane Lee was able to hang with Chase Briscoe early on but after the first pit stop Briscoe dominated the rest of the race. A lot of good cars had trouble. Josh Williams never found any speed. Matt Kurzejewski had the side window fall out of his car twice and then had to go behind the wall due to a broken axle. Myatt Snider had a problem in the rear end of his car. Brandon Jones dropped out due to an engine misfire. Lee wrecked after cutting a right rear tire.
