Chilton thinks he's cool by running this helmet this weekend. Pity it won't run as the original did.

Yeah, I don't think anyone has explained to him why Kimi could get away with doing this...

Its celebrating 30 years since James Hunt won at the Glen, setting up his championship. He swept Canada and The Glen from the pole.

Pity it couldn't be a real driver celebrating this effort.

I agree. The bus stop is nasty fast and so is Turn 1. The best opportunity looks like the dive down into the boot, at least from Rahal's onboard.

Side note: I've never been to Watkins Glen. Where are the good vantage spots? Since the grandstands are open to all G/A I thought that stand mid-way up the Esses would be a good place to start. Thoughts?

Entrance to the esses on the inside is possibly my favorite spot for just hanging out.

Literally everywhere is good though. Down the backstraight on the inside, outside in the busstop, inside of the carosel, all through the boot, outside and inside the toe, inside the heel, everywhere.

There was a three hour deluge last night there, so most likely.

I wonder if this race will happen on Sunday without some form of delay. We're expecting a pretty nasty storm starting Saturday night lasting through to Monday morning.

Newgarden got loose somewhere in the Boot section of the track before the apex and spun into the tire barrier. Not that bad of a crash really, but definitely did some serious damage to the car.

Guys, it's really annoying when all you see posted is stuff like 'big crash', 'omg' and stuff like that. Not pointing at you ziomkris, just saying that it would be good to have some more info, like the driver is ok, or not. It's hard to know what to expect when you can't watch the stream or anything.
