These days its just, Rolex, Pirelli, Rolex, Pirelli

And soon: Heineken.

Remember when teams actually had different colors?

Remember when F1 was still somewhat affordable and we had so many teams that some where already done for the weekend before the first official practice session?

Remember when the teams set up their cars during the Sunday morning warm-up: the damp track after the dew of the night, the sharp shadows of the cars and trees in the sunrise, the serene atmosphere before the crowds; the chilly 9 am at Imola. And no worries if you wrecked your car, you could still use the spare car.

morning warm-up is greatly missed :-(

also, the camera angles in which you could actually somewhat grasp the speed of the cars. Now, due to advertising, long distance is used and the sensation of speed is often lost.

Remember we had V8's, V10's and V12's on the grid and they all sounded different, even the Honda V12 sounded different to the Ferrari V12 and combining all those sounds made F1 sound so great when watching it on TV as a little kid.

Remember when the chance of all cars finishing a race was almost 0%.

Remember when lots of drivers attempted to qualify and "only" 26 could get through? And some drivers DNQ or even DNPQ every race.

remember when you had a good season when you only had 3-4 DNFs in 16 races
