It wasn't a bad race. I enjoyed it. Just wish NBC could cut back on the amount of commercials.

Yeah, I know bills have to be paid, but it's a bit much.

The networks are just trying to squeeze as much advertising dollars out of the telecast as they can before the sponsors realise no one is watching these adathons with occasional racing intermissions and no one is buying their shit.

Or realize that maybe they should look at live streaming.

And by that, I don't mean the ones you'd find at VIP Box or First Row Sports.

the commercials were pretty bad, but it's a plate race (on network/during prime time) so it's not shocking

if they count streaming, the ratings will go through the roof

Hope that's true. They desperately need a new package at plate tracks...and everywhere else, for that matter.

Plate racing is like being in a crowded train for 395 miles and all that matters is the last 5 miles when the doors open and who can rush out the fastest. I watched the finishes and the crashes and I'm satisfied. :)

Yeah, brazillian cable is doing a nice job after initial HEAVY complaints when Speed channel started. Only adds during yellows most of the time, and even those are kinda rare.

This package is pretty good for racing, if only the GWC had 4 laps. :D All the rest was pretty neat. Loved the racing after each restart inside 50 to go. Heck, halfway around the race I didn't had the lap number and thought that we were getting close to the end by the way it was going. Had a surprise when saw wich lap it was. I really advise to watch this or any plate race using the Nascar YT channel once availible. At least the second half....
