3rd time this weekend. Wait and see. No failures during the race

That's still a ton of vibration going through the car. Make sense that the left would go, but perhaps the vibration was still enough.

Looks like the right side hit it as well

Edit: no it didn't.

Amazing... introducing halo but using a type of kerbs that make cars crash...

maybe the FIA should look into a style of runoff that Road America has (asphalt with slight ripple like bumps) to deter drivers using it like a parking lot instead of the huge yellow curbs?

or you know, grass instead of asphalt

If Sky want to talk about the lack of safety they could discuss how a car can suffer a mechanical failure approaching a heavy braking zone and, because of the tarmac run off and lack of any proper gravel run off, hit a wall head on without scrubbing off any significant speed.

But I'm sure evil suspension-failure-inducing kerbs are far more importnat.

How 'bout now? :p

These new kerbs are destroying the suspensions. Look at the vibrations! F1 aint WRC car. They need to remove them and put grass/gravel and no one will go wide. If they do well its game over like it was a decade ago.
If there was simply gravel he would get wide and beach it. Simple. But we have to have 1mile long tarmac runnoffs and the car still doesnt stop.

Looks like it was caused by vibration after he hit the yellow sausage curbs.

Bring back metal suspension and gravel traps.

these kerbs remind me of the old Imola circuit. They were in fact small walls.

These guys are so used to 100m wide asphalt runoff, that even after 10 broken suspensions, they can't get themselves to stay away from the kerbs. Ridiculous.

Maybe it's because they're so used to being able to go wide and get away with it. Now it's biting them.

I'm sure that FIA thinks that Road America is "ugly unsafe old track where everybody can be killed and nobody can get money from it" so they will not look how runoff looks there
