so Austin Cindric ran faster than the Xfinity cars yesterday in ARCA practice by 2 tenths (51.848 - Cindric, 52.088 - Erik Jones), also setting a new ARCA track record.

Xfinity series is just parachute racing. So much drag.

I don't understand why they keep the drag numbers so high with the Xfinity cars when they've clearly acknowledged that lower down is better with the shit going on in the Cup series. This is why I just can't sit and watch an entire Xfinity race on a speedway where downforce is such an important part of the racing.

I guess, if it's supposed to be a development series the cars should be a little more forgiving to drive than the top series. A little. The drag/downforce difference between the two must be astonishing at this point.

From what I've heard, the new "low sideforce" X-3 car is going to be the new Xfinity Series car, if it's NOT just a rumor then they're supposedly going to roll it out for the Dash for Cash races next year, and full time in 2018. But who knows. Meh.

They figured out about low downforce after those cars were made and it seems like they don't change XFinity rules that much because that costs money.

Also, drag is different than downforce.


About the #3 coincidente, maybe one of the Dillons are going to win on Sunday....

I swear this Xfinity race is going to be one of the worst of all time.

I'm going to have to agree with you. I don't think anyone outside of the 18 or 20 win or maybe even lead a quality lap.

Not just that but the quality of the racing. These tapered spacer cars suck everywhere but here is really going to show how bad it really is. There won't be passing after 3 laps.
