Awesome Dega! Missed that fever for a while but this race proved me wrong. Also heard something about Kenseth having a go at Logano at the care center? Park that miserable dick. After last year they should park him for anything else than racing the line.

A few laps before the wreck, Logano did push Kenseth right out over the apron on the back straight, which I assume is what Kenseth took objection to.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

That was a cluster duck. And I'm drunk, so it is a perfect DEGA weekend.

Wow what a joke of a race, if Landon Cassill gets a top 11 you know it was pretty bad.

Shades of 1996 Atlanta and 2005 Daytona ARCA races :8:

sounds like they got the done just in time, downpouring right now at the track according to Twitter.

Logano & Kenseth had a slight-confrontation at the entry/exit to the care center earlier.

driver quotes on Twitter in spoiler below (either themselves posting or media members quoting):
Spoiler:
Austin Dillon

Danica Patrick

Kyle Busch

Brad Keselowski

Kevin Harvick

Joey Logano

I'm beyond tired of drivers throwing plate racing under the bus because they've had a shitty day

Brad is happy and Kyle/Matt are sulking like they've woken up on christmas day and found fruit in their stockings.....
But if one of them had won they'd be as happy as Brad is now...

You don't get this shit when someone crashes out of other races. Hell, we had a "big one" at Texas and no-one bitched there. :yuk:

Yes, let's park him for being upset about getting blocked off the track and saying a few words to him after the race.

*facepalm*

Put a 1/2" hole restrictor plate on them. Let them reach a max of 145mph and go race. Then lets see what they think. Still no promises a car isn't going over at 145 either.

Hey guise.

I got back from my 'rents and tuned into this race hoping it'd have a few laps to go...I tuned in as the pack crossed the start-finish straight on the lap that Kenseth took flight.

I was like "wow".

Then after the race had finished I do what I normally do and start the recording playing in a random spot just to see what the racing mid-way through was like, and I just happened to randomly put it on at the start of lap 95 by asking the recording to start at a random number of minutes.

Let's put Homestead instead of Talladega! It's safer and they only have one round at Homestead!
Also remember to change speed like de31168 said to 145mph

wouldn't change a thing IMO. All it would do is bunch up the field more and cause more carnage.

I'm wondering if Biffle did the same thing that Bourdais did at Fontana last year.

One of the more entertaining Talladega races I've seen in quite some time. Almost reminded me of the 2005 fall race.

It was in response to all the drivers wanting to keep the cars on the ground.

Dega is fuckin awesome.

Had a fantastic weekend, had great seats in the Tri Oval and watched both the Nationwide and Sprint Cup races. The last lap crashes happened right in front of me.

The love for Dale Jr there is unreal, the standing ovation he got throughout the frontstretch grandstand when he came out of the garage after repairs was amazing. Nobody else got that.

The infield party atmosphere was epic on the Saturday night, just pitching up at random peoples RV's, drinking beer and having a laugh.

A great weekend to remember, shattered now after a 5 hour drive back. The heavens opened up about 30 minutes after the race finish to some crazy thunderstorms, it started raining gently on about lap 90, I dunno if the TV guys mentioned it. Thought they were gonna maybe call it/red flag it when the caution came out for one of the wrecks.

Oh and the races were half decent too!

Hey Austin, you do know that the sport you're paid ridiculous amounts of money to be mediocre in is NASCAR, right?

Wave like a spaz if you don't understand.
