Remember when we used to dread them going to Fontana? It got so bad people wanted to rip it up and make it another RP track. My how times change.

500 miles and 2 races per year was a drag for sure. The 400 mile distance is perfect.

I vaguely remember a Winston West race that may have been at Fontana in the late 90's where Brendan Gaughan crashed and his wings were turned extra crispy

Biffle and Larson just had a small crash in practice. The 42 got loose in the very top lane coming off 4. Biffle was coming from the bottom to the top at full speed and clipped the rear of Larson. Both spun. Backup car for Larson, lots of body damage from the contact. Seems the 16 crew are going to try to fix their car.
