It's true, the skill of these Cup guys when the chips are down is fucking pathetic. ITS EVER FUCKING RACE.

they just posted last night's races as well.

Get rid of the GWC policy all together and go back to pre-2004; wreck with 3-4 laps to go and the race is over.

I agree. Sometimes races end under yellow. That's fucking life. I know it is a letdown when it happens but it's more fair than trying to extend the race unnaturally. All this forced excitement brings is unnecessary chaos.

I'd be more in favour of not counting the yellow laps during the last 5 laps of the race.

But whatever system they come up with, it seems destined to end in a yellow just after the white leading to a blue balls yellow finish so I'm over caring about it
I'm just going to assume all races now will end in a green white yellow and the one or two a season that don't will be a massive surprise and BEST RACE EVER.

It won't even be a green, white yellow if I understand the rules, once they've passed the blue line that's it, next flag finishes it, the rules don't make any mention of this 'system' being in force only once the white has flown, just if they pass the blue line after the green flies for overtime it's a wrap.

You know, I'd much prefer lol'ing at some group qualifying stupidity than this single car dirge.

I'm going to predict next year's 500 pole winner right now. Tony, after missing the 500 this year, decides he owes it to the fans and himself to run the 500 next season, as his last race ever. In a perfect coming back from injury/riding into the sunset double whammy, he miraculously wins the pole for the Daytona 500. The crowd goes wild.

Well, who would have predicted that?
