I wonder why that oval re-entry at the oval T1 is always so bumpy, is there a tunnel or a submerged river?

there is a tunnel that goes under turn 1, but it's after the banking starts

^^ As I said, for a series wanting to expand their TV viewership, they're certainly going in the right direction by removing 80% of their live viewers right off the bat....

that really sucks, I guess it was because of the budget cuts that IMSA/NASCAR Media Group have done for this year.

Eh? They sell stuff to Motors and broadcast world feed would be done anyway, so it sounds like it was Motorstv who dropped it...

I mean it wouldn't shock me if Motors dropped it on their end, considering how the last 2 seasons were and with the fading car counts on the Prototype side (at least GTLM & GTD are looking good now)

But it wouldn't shock me at all if NASCAR was buying airtime as well. It wouldn't shock me for the smaller races here in the USA, considering most races is usually a commercial, followed by "this message from a IMSA manufacturer" with 60 second splits of racing in between.

Linked the timing & scoring to the main post, it appears that Australia won't have any live TV coverage either as there is nothing listed on FOX's website (FS5 has alot of highlights for regional series & GP3 instead, looking up other countries now to add to the main post).

Hopefully it's just IMSA making the TV broadcasters wait to put it on their guides until they announce their plans, but I doubt it. At least the stream is staying the same, it appears for now anyway.

Has an external company taken over international TV distribution? This usually happens, new company takes over, triples fees, TV companies tell them to go forth and series remains off air for a few months to years before new company either relents and goes back to original costs or is sacked.

NASCAR, Champcar and Indycar have had this happen to them.

Well that... I can see buying air time for North American channels but MotorsTV is European and mainly British.
