Yeah, I wanted to grant the thread as soon as possible this time, looks like I've exaggerated a little bit. Also I'm a bit anxious for the GP. But leave it and let's start replying when it's November 9th.

I guess this what happens when you close Interlagos for about one year due to its reform, you end up having abstinence crisis and can't wait for racing.

Classic track. The RBRs should be competitive, shouldn't they? And a crazy midfield as always with the TR boys / Force Indias as well.
I am not sure Williams will be anywhere near the top but we'll see.

Dry races have sucked here hard in the past, let's hope for rain/mixed conditions.

the great thing about Interlagos is that one of few tracks that doesn't need DRS

One of the remaining classics that hasn't been totally tilked (tilkesized?), although quite well sterilized with tarmac. I'm glad last year's renovation didn't alter the layout.
Difficult to say what kind of race we should expect. 2012 was probably the best race of the 21st century. But dull one isn't unheard of. If someone else than Hamilton or Rosberg wins, it cannot be that bad race?
Anyway, weather-wise this is the worst race to predict anything. I'm still pissed off it never rained in 2013 even though it was raining 100 meters away the track. Similarly, in 2011 rain was predicted all the time, but it never affected the race. So useless to follow forecasts.

I can still remember the time Interlagos was considered a non-stand out race, back when it was early on in the season. Now it feels like a legend, if only for THAT race

For me, Brazil has been a highlight since I was very young. Probably since 1996, that was a pretty good race.

I remember fondly of the 1993 race as I remember seeing Katayama hitting the wall on the main straight with Suzuki abandoning his Footwork followed by Prost colliding into Fittipaldi's Minardi. All of that in less than 10 mins or so!

I've always considered it overrated compared to other circuits on the calendar. But now with a calendar full of Abu Dhabi, Sochi and equivalents, this place place suddenly looks great. And people say you can't polish a turd.
