The track is not as bad as Tilke tracks, but dear lord, they butchered this track good. I have the '67 layout in my mind and know some footage of the 90's, i willnever understand why they need to butcher all these tracks. Just to put in some convenient grandstands? How lazy is that. Design the stands to the circuit. Yuk, yuk, yuk. I'm glad they will never race at the Nordschleife.

I was thinking, with the 'low sound volume' of these engines, isn't more realistic to get some decent street race circuits in it?

Most of the butchering was done because of the need for modern run-off - the rest of the city is literally over the walls, so they had to move everything in to fit.

Looked like Sky showed an external angle of Rosberg's off in the end of race highlight reel, shame FOM didn't bother to show it on the world feed during the race.

The th sound is in Castillian Spanish, as spoken in (the majority of) mainland Spain. Perez, being Mexican, would pronounce it as a Z/S rather than a th. The Per should be stressed in either case because it carries the accent/tilde on the E.

Esben, you're half right about Andalusia having different pronunciation, but their pronunciation is different to Castillian Spanish and in certain ways closer to Central/South American pronunciation, although not the same. The differences between Castellano and 'Andaluz' mainly revolve around the C (also a th sound in Castellano - when followed by an E or an I - but pronounced more like an S in the Andalusian dialect); the non-sounding of the S, particularly at the end of words; and the non-sounding of the D within words - the most famous example being pesca'ito frito (fried fish) in Ca'iz (Cadiz). I think Andaluz actually sounds nicer than Castellano; although when spoken quickly it can be very difficult to understand, especially because as a dialect it also has its own particular vocabulary.

Her-eth would be the standard pronunciation throughout Spain, actually pronounced slightly differently within its own region.

Dear lord. I walked the camino in 2013, and every single 'province' had different pronounciations. And they refused to understand anything but their own pronounciation. Got my head full of zumo de naranja, however and wherever you pronounce it. Great country, but sometimes silly narrow minded people, especially in the villages. It felt like 4/5 countries i walked through.....

This may be off topic but it's the truth.

On topic ... largely dull race. Would have been very dull without Vettel's numerous incidents. Butchered esses would be better with some grass.
