If Maldonado does get the seat, it's a good job that he'd only be doing the road courses. The thought of him on an oval... :8:

A hefty crash on an oval where he actually get's some sort of injury, rather than walking away like they almost always do in F1 might be enough to calm him down, like it seemed to do for that Russian kid after his Fontana practice crash.

Bought my tickets for Boston last night. Hell of a deal honestly. 3 day general admission for $99 + $60 for the paddock passes. Should be fun.

Quick, someone check the US GP website and see what $159 would get you

Probably a parking space two miles from the track.

From memory, Sunday general admission tickets for USGP are $149 and then parking passes are an additional $25.

That's... actually not so bad for F1! But still thrown into sharp relief by the IndyCar prices :o

somebody stirring the pot about attempting The Double sooner or later (again)

speak of The Double for 2016, there hasn't been much news on Kurt Busch's 500 chances recently (thought I heard one rumor about Schmidt?). And while it's not the Indy/Charlotte double, Bryan Clauson will be attempting the Indy/Kokomo double again.

Penske announcing something tomorrow at IMS, will be streamed by IndyCar.
I think it's going to be a special paint scheme for either JPM, Power or Pagenaud for the 500.

edit: new paint scheme for Pagenaud for the 500

There are trees along the middle of the old pit lane now.
