Dover: who will cause the Twitter brawl this week in Cup or Xfinity? also running is the season finale for the K&N Pro Series East with several big name drivers in the field

Vegas: The final standalone race for the top 3 series in 2015 with the Trucks at Vegas

Martinsville: One of the biggest late model stock car races of the year happens this weekend at Martinsville. It appears that the 2015 running of the ValleyStar Credit Union 300 will be live streamed on FansChoice.TV as well - POSTPONED TO OCTOBER 11

Zolder: The season finale for the Whelen Euro Series is this weekend at Circuit Zolder, both Elite 1 & Elite 2 will have 2 races this weekend like normal. The race will also be live streamed on FansChoice.TV

Other: the Whelen Modified Tour is at Stafford for the Fall Final, the Mexico Series is at El Dorado, Whelen Southern Modified Tour is at Hickory for the first time since 2011.

In other news, there is a decent chance that Dover and Martinsville both are a compete washout this weekend, and then this could hit on Monday

I thought I heard on Sirius last week from the Bag Man that MRN radio would be doing the K&N East finale from Dover Friday as well as the K&N West finale from Phoenix later in the season, but it was one of those things that went in one ear and out the other, so I could be wrong on that.

edit: Also, on the weather situation, Bag Man and Pistone said this morning that NASCAR was already looking at possibly postponing to Tuesday.

they are, sounds like all of the season finales on the touring series front that are left will have some sort of live radio coverage (only series that doesn't have anything announced is WSMT)

Fuckin hurricane... wife and I are supposed to be flying to St. Thomas Friday morning from NYC and I swear if this fucks it up, I'll be pissed! Last time we went there a Hurricane delayed our flight 1 1/2 days.

Most high school football games in Virginia are being moved up to tonight, in the Tidewater region especially. Don't understand why NASCAR can't just run the Xfinity in the morning Saturday and the Cup in the afternoon Saturday. Oh well...

Well, I think it's going to be raining all weekend, so it might not matter at all.

Still, even when there's not a fucking hurricane forecast, it's still stupid to schedule a race at that time of day when even one normal rain delay will fuck everything up since the track has no lights.

I think the TV partners have a big say in the start times. I think I remember reading NBC wanted NASCAR to lead into their NFL Sunday Night Football pregame coverage.

the ValleyStar Credit Union 300 at Martinsville Speedway has been postponed to October 11 due to inclement weather and with Virginia being under a State of a Emergency

the NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour race at Hickory Motor Speedway has been postponed 1 day to October 4 due to the forecast of inclement weather
