Always wondering why the race only has 43 laps. God damn it.

Above average race.

Nice to see Grosjean on the podium, even though he did get lucky with Vettel popping the RR. Also nice to see Perez running decently.

What did Vettel do? Retire? Pit for a new tyre?

He's ranked 12th, gap: 1 lap.
I guess he stopped before reaching the pits.

Grosjean wasn't just lucky? He was faster and made sure that Vettel had to push to the end with worn tyres. If it wasn't for Grosjean pushing, Vettel would have cruised home third

He made it back to the pits & was pushed into the garage.

Vettel not happy with the tyres, Caused the BBC to put a few bleeps in the interview.

How many other drivers tried a one stop strategy? He had those tyres on from lap 21.

True, But surely a tyre should not fail completely if you try to do 1 stop.

Well yes and no. There are many variables to consider.

How about not trying to run 29 laps on a single set?

BTW, it looked to me like the tire did not explode but instead the thread let go.
