Only now none of those involved would be able to take the restart because no spare cars.

other than the startcrash, the 98 race had two other huge potentially fatal crashes with Schumacher and Fisichella both crashing into the car in front because of poor visibility. Spa 1998 is one of the most memorable races in my F1 history, but they will never allow it to happen again :(

In recent years the weekends at Spa have been quite clean except for Grosjean's shenanigans. But bigger driver errors are very rare nowadays. I can't remember anyone crashing at Eau Rouge since Briscoe '04 and it was the inside of the turn where it happened. Though when everything goes wrong, it's still one of the nasties places to go off.

Maybe a Force India will have a suspension or front wing failure there like they had in Hungary. Not hoping for that but it could happen.

driver standards in Formula 1 aren't those you expect from F3 or GT3 - the drivers don't make as many driving mistakes

You just need to stay on the grey stuff and pretty much everything is the grey stuff now.

Technically that happened at Raidillon. We've seen quite many GP2/GP3/WSBR shunts there. Zonta with BAR is the last one in F1 to actually lost it at the Eau Rouge.

Sunday has by far the largest chance of rain.

We have a decent weather website, use it here: www.meteo.be

they should get rid of that parc ferme shit to allow car changes for rainy weather

is the only way to end this pussy behaviour "AH THE TRACK IS UNDRIVEABLE, RED FLAG NOW!!!"

Not sure it would make a difference as according to the teams they don't need to change much on the car for the wet anymore (Just ride height, wing levels & soften the suspension a bit) & everything they do there allowed to change even with parc-ferme if there's a change in climactic conditions pre-race.

Eau Rouge = Great Britain

Raidillon = Wales

If I recall correctly, Ryan Briscoe destroyed a Toyota in a friday practice back in 2004 or 2005 at Eau Rouge!

Is my memory playing tricks on me, but didn't Nico Rosberg crash there in the Williams?
