Michigan: Sprint Cup and Trucks running this weekend at Michigan. Also the 2nd race of the super high downforce package this year for the Cup Series.

Mid Ohio: For the 2nd week in a row, the Xfinity Series will race on a road course at the Mid Ohio Sports Car Course. Supporting the weekend includes the Trans-Am Series and the touring car classes of the Pirelli World Challenge.

Other Tracks: Whelen Modified Tour is racing at Thompson on Wednesday, Kalamazoo has their annual Kalamazoo Klash on Wednesday, K&N Pro Series East is racing at Motordrome on Saturday, K&N Pro Series West is racing at Evergreen on Saturday, Canadian Tire is racing at Riverside on Saturday, Bowman Gray Stadium will have their 1000th weekly series race on Saturday, ARCA/CRA Super Series is racing at Flat Rock on Saturday, PASS South is racing at South Boston on Saturday

Mid-Ohio will be great! Truck race is already over with Kryle entered. Hmm high downforce at MIS? Maybe I'll catch a glimpse of that as well.

As much as I'm against high downforce, I'm kind of interested to see how it will work here. It's likely that the dirty air problem will be massive and the racing will be terrible. On the other hand, could it be possible for the cars to run flat out? They weren't having to slow much in the corners at Indy, and they should be much faster here with the banking. I don't think there will be quite enough downforce to end up with full throttle pack racing, but they might not be far off.

I would take pack racing over hours of aero push. Ideally I'd like to see low downforce again, though.

My high school geography fails me, but doesn't it only take like an hour to drive across Connecticut? :lol:

edit: Ok, I Google Map'd it. Not sure where you are, but Danbury on the other side of the state is 2 hours away... so my bad. :lol:

I'm just happy to see a road course with virtually no asphalt run off to speak of. That crap at the Glen last week was disgusting.

Not going to watch any NASCRAP races this weekend. Someone's going to win at Mid-Ohio, then someone will win the truck race, and then someone (or the possibly the same person) will win the Cup race. So fucking predictable.

And that's about where ChrisTRD and I live. 10 miles North of Danbury in New Milford. I'd go to Thompson, but when you work in Stamford it's more like 3 hours to Thompson with traffic.
