Grass and gravel traps are fine when they're all at the same level, pretty sure that one was incorrectly prepared, be sensible you know that was at fault really.

Yeaa, it turned out that the edge of the gravel trap was too high compared to the ground behind it.

Yes, it's discouraging. It happened with Ferrari since 2000's, and then with the Red Bull and Vettel recently, this is not good for F1. At least two drivers are disputing now, and not just one, as before.

I almost don't want to watch qualifying anymore, there is no excitement because it's 80% chance Hamilton gets pole and 20% chance it's Rosberg. No way any other driver can get pole unless both Mercedes cars break down. It's never been this boring for as long as I've been watching F1.

The Mercedes dominance doesn't really bother me just as the Red Bull, Ferrari, McLaren & Williams dominance of the past didn't.

Reason been that its part of the sport & always has been so its just something I accept while enjoying the competition behind. For me while I would love to see a good race at the front as much as everyone else would, I'm generally happy with a race as long as there's something interesting/exciting going on somewhere through the field.
Its maybe part of the reason i've rated some races this year a little higher than most, While the racing at the front has generally been non-existent there has been some good racing through the mid-field which i've been enjoying.

Force India say Perez' suspension failure was caused because he stayed on the kurb longer than usual & that put some loading through the suspension which they have never seen before.

The Mercedes dominance is different to that of say Ferrari, since both drivers are allowed to race each other, not pull over 50 yards from the line.

Perhaps they could build a stronger toe link instead of trying to save the 0.1 grams they did by cutting them down to the bare minimum.

Or just blame the driver, it's easier....
