The NBC era begins anew. Let the complaining commence.

woo daytona fuel cell deep big junk 5 wide in 1 line flip n' win woo nascar woooooooooooo

on a regular note, hopefully this week's races are good, but I don't feel like they will be. In other news on the lower level stock car touring series front, K&N East is at Columbus, Canadian Tire is at Circuit ICAR and the Whelen Southern Modified Tour is at Caraway (I might have to think about going to that if tickets aren't expensive)

Why is this race on Sunday night? Most people I know get Friday off for the 4th, not Monday.

I can't remeber the last time there was a bad 400 mile race at Daytona, besides 2004 maybe.

NBC has that 4th of July special and they don't want to clash with that date. Also makes little sense for them to show their first race on their series of networks in 9 years on NBCSN.

Not to mention a lot of people will be doing BBQ's and parties and setting off/watching fireworks. Makes sense ratings wise to have it Sunday night. Most people will be done with the weekend and will want to relax in front of the TV.

2013 Was a big let down imo. I hate Jawnson, and he made a mockery of the other 42 cars that night.

Kahne might have had a chance but Johnson sorta took care of that via Ambrose I think.

The TV ratings for NBC's first race back are now ruined because the race now conflicts with the USA in the FIFAWWC final.

Good job NASCAR.

The bandwagon soccer fans don't watch Nascar.....it shouldn't be an issue. The ratings for the cup race will be terrible as usual.

Well, I can tell you what I'll be watching live Sunday night... and it won't be the race. Lol.

Will start watching it once the game goes final.
