To be fair, they're right. Yeah, don't need to block on lap 4 to win, however, when you're the leader, you can really control your own destiny if you can adjust your lane quick enough (and if you have a fast enough car).

He didn't represent that very well. They were talking about it on lap 4, not saying that it needed to be done at that moment.
