The series returns to the Island layout this year after last year's tame affair on the International circuit. We're also back to a full compliment of support categories, with the Carrera Cup gracing British soil for only the second time this year. Mike Bushell and Simon Belcher look set to return after their vicious accident at Thruxton and Alex Martin should also be back after surgery. PRO (lol) Motorsport will either be running one or two cars, with an unknown fourth driver in the second after losing their backing from Infiniti.

Why do I always go away on the weekends when BTCC is on? I need to organise my life better.

I will not watch it too. I'm going to our Poznań track, first time ever FIM Supermoto will be there, it will be cool for sure Hope racing will be good, I'm expecting at least one bigger wreck at Island Bend and nice close battle ^^

No doubt about it. The only thing they have left going for them after losing the official Infiniti backing and shamefully dumping the guy who brought all the sponsors in the first place is the goodwill from the public about the Paras thing. That isn't going to pay the bills and develop the car though so they'll probably give it up as a dud pretty soon.
