Last week's Charlotte thread info:
Spoiler:
Alot of series racing this weekend including the NASCAR Sprint Cup All Star Race & Trucks @ Charlotte. Xfinity & the combination K&N Pro East/West race @ Iowa, ARCA @ Toldeo and the Mexico Series @ Querétaro.

The NASCAR Canadian Tire Series will also have their season opener this weekend at Mosport (TSN/RDS) but I believe that race as well as the K&N Pro Series race from Iowa (NBCSN) will air on tape delay.

Not sure how much I am looking forward to the Charlotte races over the next 2 weeks, especially with how the last few cookie cutter races have been. I am more interested in the local stuff that some of the other tracks in the area are doing during these next 2 weeks with one of the tracks (Concord) having their first race on their half mile in over 2 years.

With that said though I might go to one of the nights at CMS depending on a few things. Thinking about going to Pole Night next week as they have the Legends car race afterwards (would be racing in it if I could), also got a friend wanting me to go to the 600 with him as it's his first time going to Charlotte but not sure on that one.

Actually kinda glad to see him back. If anything, the guy can be entertaining, even if it's for all the wrong reasons.

He does have to work his way up into the Top 30, but Kyle being as good as he is, that's not really much of a stretch. A few good runs, and he'd get two or three times as many points as some of the drivers around 30th-40th in points.

Where does it say they gave him a waiver? I've only seen things saying he's racing and nothing about granting him the waiver.

That was mentioned several weeks back by the great and powerful Oz (Brian France). I'm too lazy to go look for the article.

There is buzz about nascar potentially waiving the top 30 rule for him as well. Sounds like if he wins a race, he'll be in no matter his points position.
