NASCAR might postpone Saturday night's race to Sunday because fuck you, Mother Nature.

Source is the Bleacher Report.

I'd take a day race again... would give me something to watch Sunday. I hate family get togethers on Sundays.

I'll be watching race highlights on youtube if the race was good, but I'm not committing my weekends to this for a a few weeks at least..Maybe Daytona and the road courses will still get viewed but until NASCAR admits their wrong and that this schedule and package are the worst yet, I have no point in tuning in. And Why the hell is Ryan Newman driving the #8 truck??

Erik Jones has been getting faster and faster since the beginning of practice, sitting in P6 now. Watching his progress this weekend should be fun!

This is the nascarcasm guy's way of having fun with it, and him being a contributor to NASCAR.com, I don't see a problem with it. Like you say, this is far from the first time we've seen partnerships between tracks and movies\random intellectual properties.

Kansas in '04 with Wizard of Oz comes to mind as one that was even more lame than this one. *shrugs*

Looney Tunes at Richmond in 2002 was one of the better ones imo.

DC Comics at Michagan in 05 was the best one IMO

Yessir, Richmond had a few consecutive years of Looney Tunes characters. The DC character cars at Michigan in '04 were pretty cool too, even though they were all Roush cars (I think).

Yep, the '05 race was the Batman Begins 400, so there were a few schemes for that one too. Can't remember them as well as I remember the ones from '04 though.

That was sketchy well before the crash. Draft seems a bit more important than most other tracks here.

That was the sort of crash that seemed worrisome when they first announced the group qualifying stuff. It took well over a full season for it to finally happen to a couple guys so...good job I guess?
