The Brian France circus comes to Thunder Valley this weekend for the Food City 500.

Does anybody care? Hell no. Not in this area anyway. Only thing people care about around here is this:

Anyways, I'll be at the track both Saturday and Sunday.

Entry lists:

Cup
Xfinity

As shitty as this race will probably be, let's not forget this is the name of the race:

Food City 500 In Support Of Steve Byrnes And Stand Up To Cancer

Bristol was rather nice ever since the second race in 2012, were they removed the extra baking up top. The Gen6 also helps for a very nervous race altoguether. I wonder how the lack of power will affect. Looking forward to know that. Hopefully will keep the standarts as last year races here - not like the old Bristol, but still better than 80% if the schedule.

I heard someone in a session on iRacing the other day saying that Bristol added SAFER barriers to the outside walls on the straightaways. If that's true, it'll make that top groove even trickier on corner exit.

As nice a move as that is, it'd be classier if food city let the Steve bynes stand up to cancer part go first.

That's about 18-24 inches of the surface eliminated. Wonder what effect it will have.

What if...what if Food City actually caries food products that cause cancer?

I don't think we had anything to do with this actually. Think this was all between FOX and BMS.

So adding the safer barriers to the straightaways... doesn't that put the walls back to the same spot the walls were before they moved the straightaway walls out a bit in the late 90's/early 00's?

Yeah they pushed the walls out on the straights for some reason.

Did it affect the racing?
