Just want to point out something.

I asked a fairly easy question:

these were the responses:

There were about 25 clean laps.

Then the caution came out.

Then for the entire rest of the race, each restart lasted somewhere between 5 seconds and a lap-and-a-half before a driver crashed or spun, leading to another caution period of at least 4 laps.

The info that I asked for. Thanks RTN!

Cool track, shame about the drainage

You've been on TBK for 7 years, if not more, you should know by now how we respond to things.

The wreck at the end was a product of the race being timed. No one was going to give an inch. I don't particularly understand why, on a permanent course, they go to timed races with weather. It's too bad because it could've been an interesting race if half the field hadn't forgotten how to drive.

Had you watched the race, you will be posting the most utter shit you can imagine to describe what you've seen. Like you said about our responses, "Useless" sums up pretty well the Indy trip to NOLA.

It's a bad race with drivers embarrassing themselves and the sanctioning body being too lenient on driving standards.

How else are we gonna describe it?

I get Omega's frustration. It's all good fun to post stuff making fun of the race but when someone with no frame of reference comes in and asks about it, it's kind of a dick move respond to his post directly with an out-of-context joke that logic dictates he won't understand anyway because...you know, as has been established...he didn't see the fucking race! lol

I have lots of humour, but posting lol and nothing else is not funny.

Yeah man, your timing was just perfect, the final thing to inspire the worst of us. This race. Man. Indy has some lols, but this is fucking ridiculous. 20 laps, then 1h20 of constant yellow, retarded driving, debris falling, shitty marshalling, and when we finally get to have more than 1 lap of green (Yeah, that was really something!!! Wooo hooo, we got a 3 car pile-up with someone nearly decapitated. The race still could be good. But there was a ridiculously short time limit. So, after the 20 lap on the start, we only got yellow until the time wears out. When only half the laps were completed. Just another retarded rule, retarded thing to happen. If Yakety sax ever was to be played at a race, this is the one. Then you come asking a brief review of what had happened. Lol, couldn't think straight. At best I could turn into Jack Nichols joker and laugh.

Just watch a replay were you can fast forward the yellow part. There are a lot of lols and crazy shit.

I don't want to continue too long with this discussion. I have showed my point, back to harmless chit chat.

Not sure I get the criticism of the officiating of the race. The yellows could have been resolved a little quicker, but most of the yellows were legitimate, especially after the events of Suzuka. Only doubtful one was Coletti's, but I suspect they hit the yellow as soon as he span as that looked like it was going to be a big shunt.

Bit concerning the tubs keep cracking - I know it's good for absorbing the impact, but if Bourdais had taken another hit on that side how strong would the tub be then? F1 cars don't cracking as easily do they?

To be fair, he has to brake on the puddle coming into pit lane because of where his pit box is, the rest of the field didn't have to.
