I do wonder why I picked Hamilton, a track on which he excels.

They had that big brake/kers coolling problem. But now they have a bigger coolling hole when needed... But Ferrari doesn't need that as they are the best in that area, and could be in the game again. So this track may be a weak link for Hamilton.

The Canadian GP will not be remembered for long.

Hamilton is always a gamble in Canada, either he retires or he wins. (Let's for the sake of statistics ignore his podium of 2013). Bad luck for Tobias, who was the only one to vote for Hamilton.

Also bad luck for asshat and kals, they picked Maldonado who made it to the finish this time and actually scored his best result since Abu Dhabi 2012.

Nobody voted for one of the retired drivers, making in my opinion Ricciardo the best pick. He finished 13th but should obviously be capable of better results in the next races.

The Austrian results are in:

Bottas was picked the most, but unfortunately for them he drove an uneventful steady race to 5th.
No McLaren was selected for this race, maybe people were optimistic that they would have gotten their act together by now. They clearly didn't.
The best pick was Raikkonen, who ended his race under a McLaren and was classyfied 19th. Congrats pimmy, who jumps to 3rd.

Well, it certainly took a while, but this is what happened in the British GP:

Despite an early lead of the Williams cars, it was again Hamilton who won the race. But only two members picked Hamilton, pimmy and asshat. These were our #3 and #4 in the ranking after Austria, they keep that position but the top two moves clear ahead. Bleu and F1Peter picked Button and Maldonado, who both retired in the first lap. So many points are gained by them.

I don't want to look at the back of the list because that's where I am...

The results:

144 Bleu
131 F1Peter
112 pimmy
111 asshat
110 LucasWheldon
109 Mäth
109 Fish88
108 kals

Because our friends in Germany decided to cancel the race after the season had already started, I have a difficult situation. The first thought was to delete everyone's worst score, but as I think of it, that's not fair either. For emaple, people who picked Hamilton (a reasonably certain 1 or 2) would then be benefited twice.

Suggestions are welcome.

The Hungarian GP was very interesting, and I'm not only talking about the on track action. Because, we have A NEW LEADER!

Previous leader Bleu picked Vettel who won, and runner up F1Peter has picked Hulkenberg, who was the first to retire. The difference couldn't have been bigger.
Our #3 after Great Brittain, pimmy, has dropped massively in the ranking, after scoring only 2 points in the last 2 races. That would have been a good score in the rules of last year, but we're not playing by these rules anymore are we? No Sir! (read that with the voice of General Melchett of Blackadder in your head)

Special mention I have to say for WilliamsF1, who is currently 10th despite a penalty of 20 points for entering too late.

Next race is Spa, where no less than 6 members will hope for a first corner crash of Kimi Raikkonen.

151 F1Peter
145 Bleu
129 asshat
123 LucasWheldon
119 Mäth
118 kals
117 Fish88
113 pimmy

If I add 20 points to everybody, it would be a bit the same as not adding anything to anybody, wouldn't it?

I can admit that as German GP was in jeopardy when making our picks, I decided to choose a driver who is likely to do well. And I think many others thought the same way.

Score everyone with their picked drivers average score for either the entire season or for the season up to Germany.

Either that or set the scores by picking names out of a hat at random for 1-20
