How long until Nascar puts a "No end under caution until GWC attempt #3" rule?

I feel like I'm missing out as I have no idea what narwhals are. Well, I know it's a fish but I can't relate that to a crap finish :p

Canadian feed = no Narwhals. :)

Also, since I don't particularly feel like actually reading the bitching posts, I certainly hope it's directed at the finish instead of the actual quality of the racing. I thought it was TAST until the blue balls at the end, but hey, it happened from time to time in 55 years leading up to the introduction of the GWC rule, so it's bound to happen from time to time now.

Drivers do crazy shit at the end of these plate races, and it's never a question of *if* there's a wreck but *when*.

Being in the stands, I can't even describe how blue my balls were. The whole crowd let out an audible sigh. I was fucking numb with excitement during that insane 3 wide run before that yellow for the 51. Lots of people left then. My 2nd race in a row that logano won on a gwc.

Also, fuck Daytona and the whole shuttle bus to lot 7 nonsense. That was the worst leaving a track experience ever and I have been to nearly a dozen nascar tracks. Thought a track like this would have their shit more together.

I direct your attention to the inside wall at the exit of the Tri-oval.

I know your pain. July race '06. Didn't get back to the car until nearly 3am. Almost makes me wish I paid the $60 for a spot in the Cracker Barrel parking lot.

That Sprint commercial is about as reprehensible as it gets for advertising. I respect the idea of advertising in general, but this one just goes beyond any legitimate effort at a proper approach to the matter. It's purely an effort to bury itself in your brain and annoy without any measurable link to the product/service being offered. Sprint pretty much display straight up contempt for the audience.

There was a lot of profoundly depressing stuff about the television coverage of Speedweeks but that is the cherry on top, the capstone of it all.

I fucking goddamn hate everything, lol.

The narwhals commercial put the broadcast into the same tier as streaming something on ESPN3 where every commercial break shows the same three commercials over and over again.

I think i like to think it's ironic but then the only other forum in used to post on as much as this was weebls stuff forums. (RIP NEVAR FORGET)

So whether you like the ad or not depends on if you enjoy weebls earworms or not and I really do....ever since the badgers .
And Kenya

(O/T this reminds me, didn't we have a poster here called magical Trevor? Used to talk to him on msn anyone know what happened to him?)

Has it been brought up yet that narwhals are actually fucking terrifying?? Image

Sprint failed with this commercial...people remember the song, but it has nothing to do with the product so a good percent of the public won't even remember whos commercial it is, just swimming in the ocean causing a commotion.

When I went in July 2001, I want to say that I parked at a community college down the road from the speedway and got in AND out fast with literally no traffic to wait on.

Definitely much better than some of my experiences with Bristol before I learned the back road into the track that the out of townies know nothing about.

When me and my dad went to the 500 in 2005, we parked behind a Best Buy across the street. It took us five hours to get out of that parking lot.

I recall Bristol being just as bad that year traffic-wise.

I'd like to see some digits on the ad recall vs. brand recall for the Sprint commercial. Most people seem to know it's "the Sprint commercial".

One of the worst brand recall examples was the VW Darth Vader ad from the Superbowl a few years back, even though most people really liked that one. Few people remembered it being Volkswagen.

Wondering how much Weebl got for that deal with Sprint though

I think it might backfire on them, since it's so annoying.

"Who had the narwhal commercial?"

"Sprint. They made it easy for me to remember who to hate."
