I guess I'm gay as well then, looking at Sutil's 'boyfriend'.

Butt fuck it, all these gay jokes. It's not cool, cum on guys.

Jeez people, some of you are a little hyper sensitive. The Sutil-Gay thing isn't just a forum joke but something that's been discussed in the paddock for many years. Back in 2008 Hamilton and Sutil were suspected to be an item...

Just because he has a 'girlfriend' doesn't mean he's not gay or can't be. Same for Ralf.

As I said, even Sir Elton John is married. And a bit closer to home. My Cousin is gay and his boyfriend has a 9 year old kid from before he came out of the closeth

Well 2 hours is costing about $500m... ;)

Cost normally depends on Bernie's mood and how flexible he is with venues and their financial state.

we should park some cars on the edge of the track so the drivers could respect track limits

I've had a new run off idea and this is my best yet - turn the whole track into a giant cylindrical tunnel. That way no one can hit anything and as an added bonus we can test the theory that F1 cars would work upside down

I'd say put grass and gravel all around the cylinder except for the top part, so anyone who chickens out gets stuck.

Just looking at the esses there and how tight they are compared to what they were. Bloody hell, do they have to make EVERY single corner on a new and God forbid old tracks EXACTLY the same? That could be Korea, COTA, Sochi or the new Silverstone. In other words, bland, a sameness and just fucking boring.

Yeah it seems that the corner profiles are all the same. Mind you I think those esses could be good, kinda like Suzuka's. The track itself should be the best of the year for passing, a 3/4 mile straight into a reasonably slow but not ridiculous corner.

I think the old Mexico esses were amazing. They started off slowly and each one was faster than the other and it ended with the amazing Peraltada corner onto a 3/4 mile straight with plenty of passing chances.

The article on autosport about the engine silly season is very interesting to read.

Basically we might have for next year allready red bull with mercs, STR with Ferrari engines, lotus being bought by renault and Sauber also with Renault engines.

The article also said that Red Bull doesnt want Ferrari because they think they deserve the best units and not secons best. It doesn't say anything about mercs engine fir Williams being the same as Mercs own engine.

I also read that Renault wants to keep Red Bull and STR to their contracts.

I still cannot see Red Bull opting for downgraded Ferrari or Mercedes engines. Nor can I see Ferrari or Mercedes supplying them same spec engines.

If Red Bull leaves Renault its either for a new entry or Honda and Mercedes/Ferrari is merely to bridge the time before the new one is ready.

The question for me is, are the mercs of williams 2nd class? If yes, that woyld also explain their reluctance to win as it seems.

Renault cannot give 2 teams manufactury support. According to that autosport artixke, renault could buy 80% of lotus for £30 million, with Lopez keeping 20%.

I hope they just do it. It would be the only life line Grosjean has. He is very hard going to be a Heidfeld, as well as Hulkenberg. Potential, but no chanxes, alrhough Grosjean has gotten more chances in f1 than anybody in the last 20 years.

I hope they keep Pastor for entertainment value.

I don't think so. I read somewhere when the new engines were introduced, that the Mercedes customers get the equal power units, but Mercedes has a special lubricant it developed with Petronas as well as of course the best way to install the engine to get the most out of it. For instance, Toto Wolff was quoted this year around Monaco, that Force India had to run with the previous build, because they had issues with the fuel system in the new built and didn't manage to get the new engines ready for all the teams. That occured when the teams switched to the second power unit (out of four) this year.
