one does not simply pass at Rascasse, great move for him, and it was a rather clean pass

He did slightly nudge him twice... but this was Monaco after all, where one does not pass without some rubbin'

:(

That was a pretty good pass. You gotta do what you gotta do at Monaco. Just like Oliver Rowland this year.

I actually liked Jules, he always seemed to outperform the car. One of my favourite "underdog" drivers. I do recall him being briefly in Q2 after the first runs in a dry session. He was gonna go to a bigger team in some form. Its a real shame that an accident that was totally unavoidable and was coming for a while had to happen.

Downloadable version in HD of that clip, please !

That's one of those clips you save forever, like Winkelhock leading Nurburgring 2007

Even less testing next year and no in season testing. That screws up things god for rookies. And off course the season will become even less predictable. Why not a one say test at the same circuit after every so race? Ah well....

if they're gonna take away testing, give them more track time at the grand prix - extra half our of practice on Friday

Well with one more GP on the calendar then the cars and drivers are getting more track time in 2016. But the point is that the additional GP as well as at least two others are completely pointless additions which are doing the opposite of what F1 needs... which is increasing costs.

Is it even worth having the discussion?
http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/120048

No chance Bernie is going with Michelin, Pirelli pay him more. I think things like tyre supply should be a matter between the FIA & the teams with no commercial considerations for Bernie as he'll always go with whats best for his wallet.

I'd love to see them just let them both Pirelli, Michelin & anyone else who wants to join supply tyres, Let teams pick which supplier they feel is the best option & lets go racing. If 1 supplier produces a better tyre then so what, Its a big part of what Motor Racing is supposed to be about after all.

A tyre war will increase costs, can't do that in F1 anymore.

so Bernie must not charge commercial rights from tire suppliers, leaving them with more resources for R&D, so there's your tire war, something that could level up racing

After his negative comments about them, I'm half expecting Bernie to play the troll as usual and choose Michelin, complete with the 18-inch rims.

something random, but I guess that's what the thread is for.

Just saw this picture. Thought I was going drunk when looking at the air intake.

Nasr and Ericsson staying with Sauber. If Bottas does go to Ferrari, who'd take the 2nd Williams? Certainly an interesting silly season coming up.

So when can we start speculating which drivers are actually driving for Sauber next year?

hope it's Mansell. lol.

no, in all honesty... who fits Williams? We all know Frank will not give in to huge (salary) demands.
If Hulkenberg again does not mangage to land the Ferrari seat, maybe him?
