A large part of the roof has been blown off the Silverstone wing building.

How much did they spend on that building few years back? Maybe it was the final bill that blew the top off.

I ran past it a few weeks ago as part of the Silverstone Half Marathon. It looked spectacular but it was so cold and windy at the time!

well, I guess it was inevitable Spa would one day also face redesign.

interesting approach for the new Les Combes complex. But I'm afraid only one of the two options will constantly be used, unless it is mandatory for drivers to take one lay-out on the one lap, the other on the other.

I welcome the change to Pouhon. Never really understood why it was such a good corner.
Seeing the busstop reinstated, twice, is fantastic.

I disagree the track is fine as it is now and back then in the 90's with the old bus stop.

Eau rouge oh please :o

Les combes is now a nice medium fast speewing set of corners.
When i drive my bike on the circuit the les combes is a point where you prepare to get in rhythm for the next couple of corners something wich you slighty can compare with the esses from suzuka.
If it wil be changed like this with a tilke style 90 degrees right-left-right the corner wil lose its rhythm momentum speed.

Pouhon is great because of the speed you can carry over the when accelerating out of that corner, from my experience its such a great feeling when you got that corner right.
That proposed bustop is/looks ridicilous what are they trying to achieve? balls bollocking? :?

Yes i know driving racingbikes is not comparable with (gt/f1) racingcars but somehow if these options are real they destroy a great fast track.

We all know what happend with tracks wich had the Tilke shortened facelifts, abandoned over time leaving us with only a memory of what great it was before its was Tilke'd.
If they want to Tilke it with those 90 degrees chicane lookalike corners let them built a new circuit.

I believe some tracks should never be touched in layout especially not for the sake of Bernie and his brainfarts.
This track is one of them.

Yeah, it wasn't even a good April Fool. 'Herman' Tilke & Niki 'Lauder', elderly fan... They could have put some effort into making it seem plausible, couldn't they?

Not sure if a belated April 1st joke, but basically it says that for Renault to be more visible, the Torro Rosso cars will become yellow.

I suppose they won't become completely yellow, but still. Some sort of a mea culpa from Red Bull to renault for all their bitching and monaing? We'll see if it turns out to be true. Visually, the gird would become more visually diverse, so I'm all for that.
