I *really* like the Merc. The nose looks fantastic. Well, apart from the camera mounts (well done on them, FIA. Stellar work again).

McLaren looks awesome!

Merc looks decent too.

Now they just need to sort the rubbish sounding engines.

Merc looks nice, tight and tidy. I love the blue on the side pod, looks sweet.

Mercedes looks awesome. All the cars look way better with the new nose rules. Thank god, finally. At least something is going to be good again in the visuals. Now just need better livery and a something that sounds better than a bad cover of Justin Bieber.


And I'm sorry, new McLaren looks awfull. Was a lot of chrome bad already, the new red thing makes the car so damn awfull ugly, why the fuck that red is there? Before the chrome was still nice, now it''s that same awfull feeling of "WTF is that Red? Why really why?" just like when I see the Lotus.

Silly question, how come did Mercedes allready run at a track? Did they only do straight line tests? I though testing was limited??

The red in the McLaren livery looks like something my 3 year old daughter would have done. In fact if she got a hold of it, it would look a whole lot more distinctive than that! But its not just the teams cars that are the same, its also the drivers helmets. How many truly unique and identifiable helmets are there?

Off the top of my head, apart from Hamilton (who's design has just become more bland over the years) I can't think of any in particular that stick out, like a Senna, Hill, Mansell or a Hakkinen. God forbid the last unique helmet was this boards good friend JV. I can't even picture any of Vettel's 100 plus helmets, cause they all just looked similar and rather bland to me.

Sad thing is the cars themselves look a hell of a lot better but the liveries are so underwhelming

Maybe the teams are feeling the crunch and anyone who is not involved in essential car development is out the door leading to half hearted liveries like we're getting.

I just came across this, don't no if it's real. The nose seems to have a more brighten colour.

love the merc - the nose reminds me of the old honda mclarens.

for me, clean & simple designs are the most beautiful, just like the late 90's CART cars, the 68 lotus, and the mp4/6

Hmm, hard to judge the Sauber. There will obviously be more sponsors on it.

So after 5 seasons on chewing out the BMW livery they decided to paint that dragon with anything that was left around since 1995... Horrible.

I think the Sauber is ugly, but I'm thrilled to see someone actually coming up with a new colour, although it is mostly blue again.
