Its that time of year once again, the Macau Grand Prix at the infamous Guia Circuit.

Plenty of drama always - spins, crashes, ARCA Brakes, bad TV crews, bad marshals, bad wild card drivers and lots of red flags.

Here's a prelude, based on last year's epic.

Um, what? Macau usually have the best marshalls in the world. Nowhere else is a fat touring car removed as fast as in Macau.

Come to think of it, yeah they're pretty good. I guess with all the cars they remove, they become masters at it.

It's the drivers that are bad

especially in the GT race. What percentage of that race will be under the SC? I say 70%.

As epic as highlights of this track always seem, I think I have yet to see a full lap around the circuit to know what the full course looks like.

Found this one on YT, one of the phew in HD incar onboard, and with a map on the top, nice to learn the track.

Ridiculous high speed section, with the extreme opposite all the other way around. One of the best.

BT SPORT, Both the Qualifying and Main F3 race live!

(And the bikes too if you're into that kinda thing)

So F3 and WTCC live on British TV (and V8 Supercars around that time too)

Gonna be a big long couple of nights for the TBK "Up all night" club!

(Mclaren, maybe you were thinking of "Bad TV directing" in your "bad things" round up. If it's not a start pile up, it's probably going to be missed...;) )

Bikes are crazy on this track, probably equal with the IOM TT and NW 200 for craziness.

Just watched the qualifying session from my link while commentating to myself like a big fool, even found it a little exciting.
Surprising that ocon is obly 10th though. ..

Also that seemingly something happened to the middle sector and no one could improve their time from about 15 mins to go.

Not surprising though that tatiana Calderón was the only crash! (Caught by the cameras anyway ;) )

Yep, I'm guessing if you crash a bike on this track, you're probably going to have a bad time.

To me, I think Mount Panorama is the greatest race track in the world. Macau... not sure if it's a great RACE track, per se... but it definitely takes skills to master it all the same from the looks of it.

It's just one of those crazy tracks that seems like only was raced in pre WWII environments, but somehow they still do it today.

It's the best because it's unforgiving unlike most street circuits today. If Sochi was 4m wide in average with no run-off area, it would be among the best instead of being the worst.

Any HD streams available? I remember watching some 160 x 128 pixel laggy asf-stream in 2004 and realized that I rather wait TBK-'s captures than damage my eyes permanently.

Will take any streams at all tbh....

For those that care, here's a few crashes from Free Practice and qualifying, all at the same corner, strangely.

(Not even sure how this one below happened, it's not been possible before based on the other videos. Did they remove a tyre barrier because of all the other shunts? :? )

http://www.ustream.tv/channel/19275778 -- this stream should have live coverage.
