Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

Hehe, teams currently lined up Noah's ark style, to paraphrase Brundle.

Nico Rosberg, world champion of qualifying

Will this weekend have the usual result of Nico faster in qualifying but Lewis having that extra performance in the race?

Hope so, once again will make things interesting.

With one wheel getting off to the air in the "Bico de Pato" turn Williams approached Mercedes, imagined If they corrected that issue.

But I guess it has something to do with the suspension engineering.

People keep talking about the apocalyptic scenario of Hamilton being way ahead going into Abu Dhabi but Rosberg winning because of double points, but Rosberg could still conceivably win this title without needing them

They could've. They just needed to add more downforce and voilá. But, then, they would've needed to sort S1/S3 out, which could be done by just taking some downforce/drag out. Then they would need to sort S2 out. Thankfully, they could have easily done that with more downforce..... ad aeternum :p

Massa paid his price, on S2, for reaching 343kmh on speed trap(in 2004, fastest speed trap was only 325kmh :8: ).
Quote:
Sector 2
Pos No Driver Time
1 6 Nico Rosberg 35.821
2 44 Lewis Hamilton 35.880
3 77 Valtteri Bottas 36.061
4 19 Felipe Massa 36.179

Impressive from Williams, nevertheless, given how close they actually are from such a dominant car. Mclaren/FI are so far behind, so, it's not just the PU.

It's great to see Sauber confirm their improvement with a P11 after COTA's P10 :) Despite crappy PU, they are already faster than FI, which was very quick early in the year(Bahrain, most notably). Good development by the Swiss and hopefully a decent car next year.

Rosberg fastest in FP1/FP2/FP3/Q1/Q2/Q3, ie, always. Won't be surprised if he doesn't win, though. :whistling: :p

@Lucas Wheldom, Rosberg could have gotten very close to break the circuit's record if he didn't make that mistake on first lap(I think T2 has always been flat out, anyway, so pretty much same layout). His best sector times gives him 1.09.861 versus 1.09.822 of 2004.

If only Rosberg stopped acting like a "highly respectful gentlemen" and try to destabilize Hamilton inside and outside the track, he would have some chances, just like Piquet x Mansell in the 80's. If you have two qualified drivers in the best car of the grid, what can you do to raise a trophy? Use all available methods to win....but no, current drivers are too respectful to each other.

I noticed that they have moved the pit entry line further over today.

Pit entry still sucks, suddenly the width of the racetrack is cut in half for the pit entry line which they can not cross. Stupid design. They will need to back out of a pass there, because if you drive over that line you get a penalty
