I wonder what's happening in Ferradura, so many oversteer there.

I believe Deletraz was driving down to the bank to cash his cheque but his neck gave out after about 10 minutes.

Would not take a gamble on that project, better blow your cash on booze and candy this weekend :D . The Kobayashi project was indeed verry nice, and crowdfunding sometimes helps very interesting project to come to life. Talking about drivers collecting money. Did somebody ever noticed/read the InvestInWilson thingie got quite dirty in the end? Came across this: http://chrisd.org/OpenLetterToJustinWilson/

That had disaster written all over it at the time.

More about Deletraz, because well, he makes Max Chilton look like Ayrton Senna compared to him and we can laugh at his incompetence. This from Autosports Nigel Roebuck:

"In the Estoril press room there was some disbelief on Friday morning as we beheld, on the TV screens, the sight of Jean-Denis Deletraz's Pacific apparently parked on the side of the racing line. Given Deletraz's modest motor racing CV, we had not expected too much of him, but we had expected more than this. Such was his pace, at the end of the tight and twisty uphill section, that his car had actually stalled, and required help from the marshals to get it on its way again.
Let me say right away that I have every sympathy for the financial plight of a small F1 team like Pacific, and understand, however regretfully, the need sometimes to put a driver's ability to pay above his ability to drive, but Deletraz's performance at the weekend made his car's previous occupant, Giovanni Lavaggi, look like Nuvolari. His best practice lap - 1m 32.796 was more than 12 seconds from David Coulthard's pole position time, and, perhaps more to the point, more than 5 seconds away from the Fortis. It would have qualified him 22nd for the Formula 3000 race....In the race Deletraz retired after 14 laps, with cramp in his arm. The left one surprisingly...."

hahahahaha oh man, bring him back for the LOLZ!

BTW how I do miss Nigel Roebuck's cracking Fifth Column

Is a corner that they really push the entry, has negative banking, and the only fast right hander, so the setup probably doesnt suit. This is the aquiles hill of the car setup.

The low amount they're asking for must have resulted in plenty of pay drivers picking up the phone - I can't help but wonder if that was the point all along.

Also, gigalolz at the Delatraz section.

Is this the first year there's so much run-off in that corner? It's silly for such a slow corner.

There's no real safety purpose, except making the track look like shit, and drivers becoming virtually invulnerable no matter the mistake they make. I didn't think there could be worse than the new La Source hairpin, they managed it here.
