Road America is also a money issue according to Mario Andretti who has been attempting to get a race going for awhile.

Actually, there is some hope for a return to Road America now, if it happens it would be in June using the same weekend that Toronto had this weekend, which is also around the same time that NASCAR had their date until moving it to August this year.

IndyCar also wants to go back to Milwaukee next year but race promoter Michael Andretti is saying that it is a good chance that it will be off the schedule next year if there isn't a good crowd for the race this year.

Road America :flag: :flag: :flag: :flag:

But we can't lose Milwaukee and not gain another oval like Gateway or Phoenix in its place

If Road America is added to the calendar that is a race I will try and go to seeing as I will be living near there soon.

Imola 1994 sensationalism. Ayrton Senna lacking performance and they blame the limit on tire sets, then they found footage of Frank talking to Leo saying "if something bad happens to him, the blame will be on you"

Andretti Sports Marketing has filed a lawsuit against NOLA Motorsports Park, ASM saying that the track owes the firm hundreds of thousands of dollars. http://www.theneworleansadvocate.com/ne ... -louisiana

Looks like this race is gone from the schedule next year then. I still think this track would have some good racing if it was a dry race.

It was let down by poor drainage. Had it drained like any other tracks they wouldn't have had all the dumbfuckery. Shame really.

Track didn't drain... Indeed. Perhaps building a track in a swamp was a poor decision.

It wasn't THAT bad. The issues were exacerbated by some poor driving and overzealous usage of cautions. Had the drivers and race control used a modicum of common sense, we wouldn't have seen the majority of issues we did.

If it'd stayed wet it would've been fine too. The start of the race was pretty good until the first yellow

And no painting on the surface with a puddle on the restarting spot.

I'm pretty sure I won't be the only one to jizz really hard if this happens.

Are they slowly going to a calendar with no ovals?

Probably, remember the series is effectively run by ex-CART people now, and their life goal back then was to do away with ovals.
