That '98 Players car is still one of the prettiest race cars to ever grace the track.

Could there be a high downforce configuration shown here for iowa, milwaukee etc and a low downforce for indy and Texas etc?

Thanks. I try to do that again.

Just to follow up on this, I will be making the Indy GP as a separate thread, so look for it around this time next week. Anything that pertains to the Indy 500 belong in the Indy 500 thread when it's created.

Honda will reveal their big oval (IMS, Texas, Pocono, Fontana etc.) aerokit on Thursday at IMS.

Rumors pointing to now that James Davison will run for Dale Coyne in both the GP and the Indy 500 while Conor Daly will run the GP in the #18 & Katherine Legge in the 500.

Tags was originally trying to get a ride with a KVSH spin-off team but they couldn't get a confirmation from Chevrolet on the aerokits so he had to look somewhere else (Foyt)

Well, at least even he knows he won't pass the ROP.

Oh boy, they will with those aero kits, that's what they're designed for, I'm really happy with that. Hoping for a bigger challenge to overtake (less straight drag).

I've been watching some mid-90's races lately, and holy hell did Al Jr have racecraft! These kind legends are usually exaggerated, but when he did qualify well, no one did stand a chance. He only ever took 7 pole positions, and won 6 of them.

Yeah he was a favorite. It was painful to watch 1997-1999...especially 1999.
