If it's racing in the dry, FORGET IT, I'm only here to see races start dry then gradually become wet.

This is why all oval racing is BULLSHIT

Overall I've enjoyed the racing the DW12 has produced on all different types of circuits but I think the racing on the ovals in particular has been way better than what we had with the old car.
I think I said after Fontana last year that the only issue i've really had has been the tyre wear, You get great racing for a few laps with fresh tyres but then the tyres fall off & racing becomes a lot harder as grip levels fall & it goes back to mostly single file stuff. Give them tyres for the bigger/faster ovals which last longer & I think the racing would be even better.

Drag is good. Slippery aero on ovals produces poor racing because cars cannot follow. What the cars need is more horsepower. There needs to be a balance and current Indycar hasn't found that yet.

I'll take Indy 500s now versus Indy 500s from pre-DW12. Pre-DW12 there was zero overtaking at Indy. Now there's too much. I'm fine with that. Complaining about too much overtaking is the equivalent of complaining about have too many hot busty swedish blondes wanting to sleep with you. Just grow some balls and enjoy it. It won't last forever.

Another comparison, you like overtakes? So you prefer the new Bristol? I prefer the old one.

If they do change the oval DF and tyre package, it must not bring back pack racing

My bet is that it will pend to the side of early DW-12 at Indy - new aero packs to provide better air penetration equals less drag. Might just be enough for the second place to have to work for it, if he wants to get to the lead. Not just have it given to him like a free souvenir.

Agreed, though I'm pretty sure the only people who want that back are that dick Ed Carpenter and Brian Barnheart, and I think this aero kit was worked out way before he got his job back, so here's hoping.

That's an apples-to-oranges comparison if there ever was one.

The same with comparing overtake with a busty blonde. Or that's way worse.

Compared to busty blondes, everything is worse. Except maybe a busty redhead.

And this right here shows how little you understood the analogy I made. :slaphead:

Normally we agree about most things, but we're way off on this one.

MAJOR penalties handed out to Chevy by indycar for engine infractions. Chevy found "reliability issues" and decided to change 11 of the 12 motors. So now Honda holds a 162 point advantage in the manufacturer standings despite only scoring a total of 70 at St. Pete haha. Chevy is also refusing to say who has the 12th engine which they believe to still be ok. I guess its better than when Chevy recalled the Volt a couple years ago because they came straight from the factory WITHOUT FRONT BRAKE PADS!

Congrats everyone, at this moment we all have more engine manufacturer points than Chevrolet!

Just realized that during the Indy 500, I will be on a plane. To a warm and sunny destination, but still, no Indy 500 this year :(
