Sounds like they are being realistic with their expectations, unlike a certain other family I won't mention.

Has it been mentioned whether there is any brain activity at all? It wouldn't seem as if they would still be, and I'm sorry for using this term but I can't think of anything better, keeping him alive if he's brain dead, they don't seem to be that kind of people.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

When even the parents say he's "stagnating", that's pretty bad :(
Most loved ones see progress in the most trivial thing when in that situation.

Very sad.
This is a totally inappropriate question, but if Jules passes away without ever regaining consciousness, should the Suzuka accident be considered "fatal"? Because technically he survived the crash, but on the other hand the conscious mind of Jules ended at that point.

Yeah i was thinking about that also.
If Jules passes away you can consider the Suzuka accident as a fatal or the crash resulted in a fatal situation.
Not to be rude but as long the man is breathing i hope he will wake up however we have to be realistic.
Its the same overal situation as Schumacher the line of life is very thin for both men.
:(

Difference was that, no matter how slow it might have been, Michael's neurological situation gradually improved. Sadly, it would seem that Jules has reached a point where (hopefully) it's stalled for a while or (tragically) it's not going to be able to fix itself any more.

Very sad situation. That drive at Monaco was only 12 months ago but it feels much longer than that given circumstances.

If Swede Savage's crash is considered fatal then Jules' will be as well.

Exactly. I was gonna mention his crash as well as Ronnie Peterson's. Im sure theres several others those are the 2 most widely known i can think of at the moment.
