Don't get me wrong, but aren't drivers supposed to slow down at double yellows. As tragic as it is, I can't help but also notice that in all probability it was Jules mistake not to back off enough.

This is why I watch the race illegally on the net. But I prefer Rai over Sky.

i'm guessing that was acquaplaning, it may as well have lost the car while braking after seeing the double yellows.

i usually do that too, but i'm a bit ill and i preferred to have a good sunday morning sleep than watching F1

Helmet looks to have done it's job, looks in one piece and the visor is intact, i assume it's some blunt damage he has suffered to his head.

20 years ago, after Martin Brundle escaped an identical fate by sheer luck. It seems that the FIA only wants to act on these things after the fact.

I thought the same - I was expecting there to be much more damage to the top of his helmet, although obviously we can't see the other side.

Very odd and creepy to see that guy with the black overall and Senna helmet on the scene.
