Finally home... Rain fell in mass numbers not long after the checker. I went from liking Blaney to hating him to loving him again in the span of 5 minutes. Glad he snookered Kyle Bitch on the restart.

Kyle Busch, ladies & gentlemen.

Bitchy primadonna attitude aside, he kinda has a point there.

Seems like now you have to outright turn the guy in front of you, kamikaze him on the inside and hope you make it out alive, or if you prefer to race clean, pray to a higher power he makes a mistake before the checkers, all because the inside line ain't worth a shit.

Maybe that was Bruton's intention when he repaved the place: "See, now they have no choice but to spin n' win n' punch some guys light out, just like the good ol' days!".

Kyle Busch, despite his tone, does have a point. In the old Bristol, the preferred line is the inside and, at least when you shove someone to the outside, the victim has plenty of room to save his car and get back in line. New high-line Bristol...shove someone here, the victim goes right into the wall. I know NASCAR drivers are aggressive, but unless they're really pissed off, their intent is to move up a position, not totally take them out.

You might think so, but it sure is better than that figure skating pair last week.

Well, considering the reception they have for that debacle of a command, it is.

Is it just me or can anyone barely hear the commentators? It's like the audio isn't set right with the network. Also a commercial at lap 16? That's less than 5 minutes in.

Also given the ride Kyle took, that's pretty much the least amount of damage you could get from that.

Also we continue to watch Clint Bowyer's slow decent into becoming Micheal Waltrip 2.0
