The marijuana thing will likely hurt/kill any chances at a civil suit by his family, imo.

I've never considered marijuana to be a performance enhancer (I sure as hell wouldn't be good at sims under the influence... I don't think), but I've *heard* you get "in the zone". I don't know. Just hearing this from a friend. (No, seriously. :lol:)

I do know that you'd be in another "zone" entirely once you'd get out of the car and agitated.

This is f'n crazy. The Aaron - or AJ - Fike thing was also crazy, but this... man.

It does stay in your system for a while though. No telling when he'd smoked weed. May not have been high at the time.

I'm a bit shocked TBH. I've heard of drivers being on meth or whatever, but it never crossed my mind that weed would in Ward's system, not even early on when there were rumours about abuse.

Yeah, didn't see that one coming.

Wasn't that the reason Tomas Enge was stripped of the F3000 championship? I can't imagine it being any kind of benefit to racing.

Yep, just got DQ'd from the weekend he was tested at and dropped him to third in the standings. Then he got done again in 2012 and banned for 18 months, but that time for something else.
