well that's shocking. Haven't followed NASCAR for quite some time, but I always considered Tony to be one of the good ones (I remember him visiting the hospital after the awful Daytona support race crash in January 2013)

He did. Rear end slid sideways (due to the nature of sprint cars) and struck the driver.

He's definitely going way faster than any of the other cars under caution. I know the kid is wearing a dark suit and shouldn't be running at cars, but I can't believe Tony didn't see him. This could have massive consequences. Tragic.

The videos are certainly damning for Stewart and it would be safe to assume wanted to simply scare the guy and completely cocked it up in the worst possible way. Fucked on all counts and sadly for Tony it's going to be something he's likely to struggle with for the rest of his life. Condolences to the kids friends and family, this shit sucks.
