Gotta love a good redemption story like this. I'm glad to see AJ Allmendinger get the win. He's definitely earned it.

One of the top 5 wicked Watkins Glen crashes, no doubt. If McDowell hadn't of gotten stuck in the guard rail Ragan surely would plowed into the already down to the roll cage car...very lucky everyone walked away.

I know it's not an issue to be facetious about but could we please change the thread title? Every time I see it, I have a really horrible mental image.

Hey, if Stewart doesn't want to have kids, that's up to him.. though there may be safer ways to not get someone pregnant. :whistling: :yuk:

And so did the couple cars behind her. In her defense, a lot of cars kick up dirt and dust every lap coming out of that corner.

That's what I was thinking, as well. "Oh look, more dirt! I'm just gonna-- OH SHIT WRECKIN' AND STUFF." She slowed down then, but it was pretty much too late... a bunch of others sped through similarly, but the only one people noticed was Danica.

Can't get over how insanely close David Ragan came to it all. That was some impressive maneuvering.

Yeaa I saw that. Not sure who ran into him either.

I think there was another coming together in all that.

Boris Said got run into by Alex Bowman... I believe that's what's you're referring to.

Could be, the car that rammed the other one looked the right colour to be Bowman's car.

More like if the rear axle hadn't become a springboard for the back of the car. The rear end bouncing about was what kept the car from being able to spin back out into traffic.

Did anyone else think of NR2003 physics when the car sort of wedged itself into the wall?

Not until you mentioned it, but I see what you mean. It was up on its side and everything - the only thing missing is the crazy lag and warp associated with such a wreck when it happens online.

The way Newman got turned too, looked almost like what happens when you slice across somebody's nose too close, and your back bumper grabs their front bumper and sends them spinning.

...when told Alex Kennedy got angry, went to bump the 36, and subsequently got binned into the guardrail.

Watkins Glen guard rails have a bad habit of breaking on the bottom rails while the top rail holds together...
