Slight contact but that was enough to mess things up.

Good thing they're not pitting; Harvick's team would fuck this up.

It's fun to me that Jr has learnt to be consistent this late in his career.

Especially when he'll get to the chase and likely be nowhere :p

That was an interesting race with all of the pit strategies and some good on-track battles. Nice top-15's for Casey Mears and Justin Allgaier today, as well.

Aw man, what a great day in the stands. I pretty much raised a big middle finger to any forecasts that had rain in them, because for some reason, forecasts are never right here. Go figure, not a drop of rain was had.

Anyway, Kyle blowing up, varying strategies (hard to keep up with without a scanner, but still quite fun), the big one, pretty good duels throughout the day, and being a part of the crowd going nuts for an Earnhardt win was absolutely incredible. Crazy energy.

Capped off with it taking 15 minutes from the time I turned on my car to being full-speed and out of race traffic, I'd say this was almost a perfect day.

Never thought I'd be bummed by the idea of Steve Letarte retiring, but hopefully the 88 can keep the momentum up with Greg Ives next year.
