Welcome to the greatest sports car course in the American Midwest. Not a lot of time left in this season, so if someone like Ryan Hunter-Reay would want to make themselves a serious threat coming to the end of the season, this is the best time to do it.

Given the recurring winning pattern, we could safely say that Kimball is going to win this year.

best track, hopefully another great race like last year here

best bet on an underdog winner here? Wilson, Newgarden, or Kimball again?

I reckon we could see something special from some grey haired washed up fat-ass that couldn't haul one of the best prepared Sprint Cup cars outside the mid-twenties of the Brickyard 400. Oh wait I'm wrong, Tony Stewart finished 17th.

Watching tape delayed quals. They don't use the actual S/F line for timing a lap? What is this?

They never do use the regular S/F line on road and street courses in Indycar. They put the timing line before the pits so the drivers don't have to run a full-lap to come in the pits if they want/need to.

Bourdais on pole, Newgarden starts second.

Montoya was fast enough for second I think, but had to drop his two fast laps for causing a red.

Actually beginning to like Bourdais. Maybe it's the contrast of Power, who is such a gigantic tool, that Seb seems alright now. Or at least he seems less like a Tom Cruise fucking pysco.

The lack of success in recent years has put his feet back on the ground.

Add to the fact that he's no longer being pandered to by series owners.
