We return after a month's break to the flat and usually sunny Snetterton circuit in Norfolk for the second half of the season.

The teams have had some time to carry out development work on their cars and we've seen two teams enter a partnership, so will we see a change in the running order? The BMWs shouldn't be as dominant as before now that the RWD-friendly circuits are behind us, so that could allow Triple Eight & Team Dynamics to get back to winning ways. It's quite surprising, really, that Matt Neal still hasn't won a race this year. Returnees Menu & Giovanardi haven't either, but they've been improving all year, so look for them and their team mates to be somewhere near the front.

First bit of news ahead of the weekend: BMR will be running 4 VWs, which means no Vauxhalls will be entered for a round for the first time since 1988!

I wonder if someone might pick up with Insignias and run them in 2015? It will be a shame not to have Vauxhall represented in the championship for the first time in 26 years, they've pretty much been synonymous with BTCC for as long as I can remember.

Well, it depends on whether they've been cannibalised to build the other two CCs.
