The Brickyard: where the past few years have seen nonstop pulse-pounding action, plenty of lead changes, and edge-of-your-seat drama.... in Indycars. When Cup and Nationwide come to town, not so much. Perhaps this year will be the exception? Please?

Eldora: a track so awesome, it made Norm Benning look like a badass. The Trucks will be doing some mudslinging this Wednesday night for their second trip to the half-mile dirt oval in Rossburg, Ohio. No Kyle Busch to put a whooping the field; that role will be played by the two guys that make cowboy hats look like must-have douchebag wear, the Super Dillon Bros.

IRP: abandoned by the Nationwide Series for the irresistible allure of playing to near-empty crowds at the big track. It will host the ARCA Racing Series this Friday night.

Sprint Cup @ Indy Entry List
Nationwide @ Indy Entry List
Trucks @ Eldora Entry List
ARCA @ Lucas Oil Raceway Entry List

Going to the ARCA race Friday night. Looks like there will be a 100 lap CRA Super Series race before it with Kyle Busch, David Ragan and a few other notables.

WAIT

That video was actually published by the speedway's official youtube account??!

Is this the pro-open wheel folks trying to make fun of nascar? Or is this a serious attempt at comedy? Either way, just no.

EDIT: $30 for a ticket is a pretty good price tho

Nice that 98% of the racing footage in the commercial was from good Brickyard 400's in the 90's/early 2000's.

lol, don't take that commercial seriously. It's clearly a take off of the fake Power Thirst commercials.
